(Why we exist as a church)

“The PURPOSE of The Sanctuary is to MAGNIFY God’s name by bringing people to Christ as MEMBERS of His family, developing them to Christ-like MATURITY, and equipping them for MINISTRY in the church and a life- long MISSION to the world.”

A healthy church community is defined in two key passages in Scripture:

The Great Commandment:

“Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart… soul… and mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment. 
And the second is like it:  Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.’”

Matthew 22:37-40

The Great Commission: “‘Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.’”
