Welcome to Women’s Ministry of The Sanctuary!

It is our prayer that you will be encouraged and blessed as you experience the various activities, events, and programs that we offer.

There are many opportunities we offer to help you connect, grow, and become all that God desires you to be!  We believe that by growing into a community of sisters in Christ that we honor God and we are helped along in our journey and quest to become more like our Lord Jesus Christ.  Along the way, there may be laughter and tears, sharing and caring, and some stretching and growing, all good things—and all a part of the abundant Christian life!

• Connecting and Sharing

We offer many opportunities to connect with the other women in the church.  We encourage partnering with another woman to pray and share and we also offer  group activities (our quarterly Brunches and yearly Ladies Overnighter).

• Food, Frolic, and Fun

Some things we do just for fun! It helps us to have opportunities to get to know each other in a more relaxed setting.  Some of these activities include our Ladies’ Night Out, our annual Christmas Brunch, and Craft Days.

• Learning and Growing

We offer a variety of opportunities to learn and study God’s word.  Each year, our women participate in the Women of Faith conference.  We also offer Bible Study groups as we are able to do so.

• “In-reach” and Outreach

We do whatever we can to reach out to women in our community.  We sponsor a C&MA missionary child.  Our Food Ministry ministers to those in our body by bringing in meals to those who are dealing with illness or loss.  Women’s ministry also serves our church body by decorating for the various seasons and also for special church events.

Watch for announcements in the church bulletin  as to when these events and activities are going to take place.  Women’s Ministry functions are also included in the monthly church calendar, published at the beginning of each month (and posted on the bulletin board in the foyer)  For many activities we ask that you sign up in the foyer so we know how many to plan for.

The purpose of Women’s Ministry of The Sanctuary is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by supporting women as they seek to grow in their faith, equipping them as they serve God in each area of their lives, teaching them how to be women of purpose, and ministering to those who are in need in whatever way God leads.
