The purpose of Women’s Ministry of The Sanctuary is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ
by supporting women as they seek to grow in their faith, equipping them as they serve God
in each area of their lives, teaching them how to be women of purpose,
and ministering to those who are in need in whatever way God leads. “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and
good deeds.  Let us not give up meeting together…but let us encourage
one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

            Women’s Ministry of The Sanctuary offers women many opportunities to connect, grow, and become all that God desires you to be.  We believe that by growing into a community of sisters in Christ that we honor God and we are helped along in our journey and quest to become more like our Lord Jesus Christ.  Along the way there may be laughter and tears, sharing and caring, and some stretching and growing—all good things, and all a part of the abundant Christian life!

Connecting and Sharing

            We offer many opportunities to connect with the other women in the church. Some activities are one on one (our L.I.F.T. Program) and some are group (our quarterly Brunches and yearly Ladies’ Overnighter). 

Food, Frolic and Fun

            Some things we do just for fun!  It helps us to have opportunities to get to know each other in a more relaxed setting.  Some of these activities include our Ladies’ Night Out, our annual Christmas Brunch, and our Craft Days.    We also have a yearly Secret Pal program that is a source of encouragement and fun!  There is also opportunity to do Scrapbooking once a month for those who are interested!

“In-reach” and Outreach

            Each year we do an activity of some kind to reach out to women in our community.  We also sponsor a missionary child.  Our Food Ministry ministers to those in our body by bringing in meals to those who are dealing with illness or loss of some type.  Women’s ministry also serves our church body by decorating for the various seasons and also for various special church events.
